Good day again. This is Bobby Clanton from the What Happened to America podcast. It's been a few weeks since I've been on. I've been uh very busy, and I hope you've had uh a good few weeks. It appears that we're getting quite a few downloads on our podcast, and um that's good. Uh because it it also uh is a fact. I mean it's not a question, it's a fact. That very few people in the day in which we live are saying uh what needs to be said about these issues. We have become a um I don't know, I would call it a if there's a name, it's probably a hybrid society. There's no justice, um, and that's what I'm gonna talk about today. But there's no justice for those who've been assaulted by criminals and murdered and so forth, families who are suffering, that kind of thing. We spend more time and money, for instance. Now we have uh the guy in uh Utah that killed Charlie Kirk. Uh it appears now that his defense will probably cost the state somewhere between 10 and 15 million dollars. They've taken this idea of what we call equal justice under the law. I don't call that equal at all. I find it a total travesty of justice. These lawyers they know in the case of this guy that he's guilty. There's no doubt about it. The evidence is is mounting and they always talk about this. They talk about going back and uh making sure that he gets a fair trial. Well, now what this is all about is doing their best. There are two reasons, well, two factors actually, is they they want to run those fees up where the state has to pay them because he doesn't have any money, and they and so the state has to provide a defense for him. That's one thing is running the bill up. I mean, they make a a tremendous amount of money off this. Uh they have spent, do you know that in that case that was what approaching a year ago? Uh, that he hasn't even pledged yet. And the fact is that uh it's been something like uh I guess maybe approaching a year. And uh and then he is not even pled guilty or not guilty. You know, I I think uh when I say that there's no justice for the victims, this is what I'm talking about. This man surely killed a woman. I'm not saying uh kill Charlie, and I I'm not saying that he shouldn't get a fair trial, but what is a fair trial? Is it nitpicking every little thing to delay what they're trying to do is they're trying to uh get out of the death penalty along with making as much money off of it as they can. That's not justice for the victims. And I just uh I think it is a tragedy. And let me tell you some other people that are complicit in this. When you see somebody or you see a report where they have people that they classify as, and I quote, faith leaders, you can assume that they're no not anything of the kind. What they are is what I would consider liberal pantywaste people who who are don't believe in much of anything except letting the guilty go free. And I I've often struggled with what kind of mentality that is. I mean, how people where does that mentality come from? You know, you uh I I say this on here all the time. The first instruction that God gave Noah when he came off the ark is if you take a life, you give a life. And and this, there should be a limit. There should be a limit set on these appeals and on the arguments and so forth, and get away from this idea that we're afraid that we're going to execute an innocent person. That's the biggest scam ever played on the victims from these thugs and these people who are murdering people's loved ones. And so, uh, here we are, this many months later, and there's still been no pleading, guilty or not guilty, and I think that's not scheduled until August of this year. And so, you know, we between the judges and the politicians and all these people, what we have is what the Bible says, that in the last days there'll be all kinds of uh confusion that right will be wrong and wrong will be right, and we're there. Of course, we're very close to the rapture of the church and the end times. We are in the end times now. And I think what identifies it is this kind of thing. You know, uh you don't have I'd say this in the 20s and 30s in this country, if you were convicted of murder, you were generally executed within a month or two. And I'm gonna bring up to you today a case uh in Tennessee uh that I just saw today. Uh a lady who was working as a uh a great lady based on her family, she was helpful and that kind of thing. She was working as a uh a room person, cleaning the rooms and so forth for a hotel in Tennessee. And this guy uh rapes her and kills her, and he was sentenced to death forty years ago. Forty years ago. Um and so here they are still trying to execute him. I think it it is it is absolutely horrendous. It it is so unnecessary that this guy is still living. He needs to pay with his life. This business I I've noticed uh over a period of time as I follow these things. You'll see the pictures of these guys that have been on death row for 30, 40 years. I mean, just the sound of that makes it outrageous to me. I mean, you take he'd been in in in jail for 40 years waiting to be executed, and we're still waiting. They don't like the execution method. This is what I say. Why don't we do this when we're determining? Why don't we be pictures of the victim's body and how brutal that was? Why don't we give some thought to the fact of what they were thinking as this person was stabbing or shooting them or raping them? Why don't we give some in something to that for the victims? What about victims being number one? What about doing away with all this nonsense about trying to protect the rights excessively to the point that you have the uh the evidence? The evidence is overwhelming, but yet you spend 40 years trying to get them off. I I honestly I I mean I'm older, I was born in 1948, and uh and I saw a different America, I saw a different world. And and the world is now becoming, at least this country is becoming full of people who um, well, look at your politics. You got the Democrats wanting to let immigrants run free. They're breaking the law, okay? They're breaking the law. I don't care how nice a person they are, and I know a lot of Hispanic construction workers, very nice people, but but if you're here illegal, you're breaking the law. You're having murders and rapes and assaults and all these things from people that should not even be here. You also have it from people who are legally here, but we're doing nothing, and I would say on a scale uh from one to a one hundred, we're probably in the ten or fifteen range for protecting the public from murderers, rapists, thieves. We even have in California, as long as you don't steal more than a thousand dollars worth of merchandise, they can't try you or they won't try you, right? And yet we expect there to be law and order. How's there gonna be law and order if we don't execute the law? You've got uh you've got Democrat politicians who are refusing to allow the federal government to pick up people who are here illegally, criminals, rapists, murderers, uh, child rapists, those kind of things. And we call that law and order. I'll be honest with you, it borders pretty close to chaos, where everybody's gonna have to go armed, we're gonna have to uh uh we're gonna have to consider it, which we do now. When I end my classes, my end time classes on Sunday night, I tell everybody in here, a lot of them are over 40 or 50, you know, be aware of your surroundings, pay attention to what's going on around you, because we live in a dangerous world. And ladies and gentlemen, there's no need for that. We have the law, we have judges, we have systems that will take care of that if they're allowed to do it. There should be a stop to the number of appeals. In my opinion, when you lose, you should be allowed to appeal maybe once or twice, and that's it. If you haven't brought up issues within those two appeals, then the then the sentence is carried out without any delay. And I think that as far as that goes, we should require under federal law that the states once you they have uh they have executed their last appeal, being one or two, you know, and I think that's fair, that they are required to take that sentence out, to carry that sentence out, especially a death sentence, within sixty days. Otherwise you lose federal funding. You know, there's no reason for this. It could be different. And it and it really disturbs me that you've got actually supposedly faith leaders. I'll tell you what they are. They're what the Bible calls of having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. And when that passage in Timothy is spoken, what they mean is that power that they're talking about means that they do not essentially have God at all. They don't have him, he does not indwell them. They are fakes. You understand? They are fake leaders. They're liberal people who believe that, you know, what I would like to ask them sometimes is how much thought do you actually give to the victims of these crimes? How much thought do you actually give? Do you ever think about their children, maybe their grandchildren that are left behind, they have to be raised without a father or a mother? Have you given any uh thought to how much agony and distress they go through in their lives? They have to live their lives under that, not only that, but they have to live like this case in Tennessee, where this daughter has to live. This has been 40 years that this thug has been in prison, and uh and they are they still don't have any justice. It is not right. It's evil, it is not right, and something should be done about it. You know, we can't um I don't listen, I mean, you know, I've have a good bit of experience at different things, but you know, I've also studied scripture for a long time, since I was probably 16. And I've come to this conclusion. You know, God has a set way in Scripture to maintain order in a society. And that that that the way he has it set up uh is perfect. It's perfect. You know, the simple matter about it is you take a life, you give your life up, that's simple. Honestly, you know, I mean, in my opinion, you could just do away with the all the appeals because if you if you have a the proof, and now we have DNA and all that, uh, you know, and maybe you allow one appeal, and that that sentence should be carried out immediately in accordance with what God told Noah when he came off the boat. You know, you take that life. You listen, we're gonna have justice for the families. That person is gonna give their life up. And uh I have said in the past that in order for families to get justice and fairness, maybe we should allow the families to execute that person. I don't really see a problem with that. You know, most of them would probably pass up on that option, but I have to tell you that if somebody assaulted and killed one of my family members, I would love to have the opportunity to get closure on that by executing that person who did it. You know, but if we give that responsibility to the government, then the government should do it. And they should allow the gov they should allow the family to come and see it. You know, I it's amazing that out of all the discussion you have about this, whether it's in the media, the newspaper, or on the computer, wherever, all this discussion is always about the thug, about the perpetrator, about the murderer, the rapist. It's always about them. You never hear, rarely ever, ever, ever do you ever hear an article, an article about the victims and what they're going through. You never hear that. What is that all about? Well, I'll tell you where it comes from. It comes from the fact that actually it started in the Garden of Eden when Satan convinced uh, when he convinced Adam and Eve not to obey God's rules, not to accept what God says about peace and obedience and so forth, but to go another way. And that's why we're here. That's why we have murders, rapists, all these things. We have these things because people, Adam disobeyed God in the beginning. And so evil has uh festered, it has become, and now we have become in this day and time, we have become more sophisticated at performing evil. All the trash and stuff that's on the computer that comes by, they're trying to get your children, they're trying to indoctrinate them, this is all satanic. So don't uh just uh believe that these politicians, uh, well, there are some of them that I believe are actually demon-possessed. And uh, you know, if you if you take a an abortion uh vehicle to the Democratic Convention, what do you call that? You call that a bunch of demonic, demon-possessed people who are intent on sacrificing babies to Satan, which is what they're doing. If you ask them that, they they they like to flower it up in their language by saying, oh, well, this is a woman's choice. No, it's not. Your choice is to get pregnant or not. That's your choice. And when you make a choice to get pregnant, you have abandoned the rest of your decisions related to that based on what the Holy Scripture says. That is now a new life, and you do not have the right to take it. You do not have that right to take it. You had the right not to get yourself in that situation, but once you're in that situation, that life has to be respected. So we're looking at a society, uh, going back to this Tennessee case, uh they are this individual is scheduled to be executed in August. They tried one and couldn't find a vein and that kind of thing. And get this this is this is quite an issue here. They don't want the murderer to suffer. I I it's almost laughable. They don't want, they want to, they they want to inject the right chemicals so that before he goes into hell or she goes into hell, that they don't suffer. I I just find that not only laughable, but I find it a horrendous concept. So you violently kill somebody, stabbed them, raped them, all that, which is what happened in this case. And you're telling me that your major concern is that that person doesn't suffer much as you execute them? Do you under I if you think about that, you have to say to yourself, what in the world are we thinking? So this is this is so outrageously stupid. You know, I you know, the victim, they've killed them, they've taken their life. And can you imagine how they suffer as they lay there and they've stabbed them and they're bleeding to death and what's going through their mind and how they're suffering? And you're telling me that when you take the life of the person who took that life, that you want to make sure that they die peacefully? Lord help us. Lord, send us a revival in our churches and among Christianity where we demand, I'm telling you, we demand that people get justice in accordance with what God said, okay, in accordance with the way he laid it out. He said, he didn't say anything about making sure that the murderer didn't suffer. He said you take the murderer's life. You know, fire and squad, hanging, drugs, whatever. You take the life of that person. And it is proven now that all the crime committed in this country, about 90% of the crime committed in this country is committed by 5% of the people. And you gotta say to yourself, well, what you mean to tell me that 5% of the person of the people in this country keep create all this chaos? Of course they do. What do we do? We find a way to let them go. You put murderers back on the street on bail that have had multiple felonies. It used to be in most states that if you were convicted of three or more felonies, you spend the rest of your life in prison. You know what I say about that? That should come back. It should be one felony, but the fact is if you commit three, you should go to jail for life, and they give you an option. You can spend your life in prison or we can execute you. And we'll let you pick your way of execution. You know, you you uh this and and so people when they when they hear this, they say, well, you're you're really radical. No, I'm not. I'll tell you what, I'm I have a um a very good dose of common sense is what I have. So you put these people back out on the streets who are multiple felons. What in the world do you think they're gonna do? Do you think they're just automatically gonna go out there and say, well, you know, I have 20 felonies. Uh, yeah, I'm just gonna change my life and I'm gonna quit doing that. And then we have the churches, which the churches, the churches spend their time saying, well, you know, we just need to uh lead this person to the Lord. Of course you do. But don't be foolish, right? Um in most cases that's not going to work, but I mean, we should do it because we've been told to take the gospel everywhere, and we should do that. I want to be clear about that. But on the same hand, what do you do? You got a multiple felon out there who is likely to commit an assault or a murder, that the statistics prove that. And what are you gonna do? You're gonna say, well, let's just keep talking to him, and maybe at some point God will save him. That's right. He may save him. But in the meantime, do we let him just keep committing felonies instead of putting him in jail for life? You can go and talk to him in jail about getting saved. There's nothing to that. You could do that. We just we we we've lost almost all of our practicality, almost all of our common sense. We've lost it. And and people are suffering because of it. You know, child molesters, uh child molesters, okay, they continue to do this, then they need to be castrated. You know, because if you can't we we've got this idea, this this I call it a superfluo, that at some and and this is so crazy, at some point people like that will change. How? And by what means will they change? So we're just uh we're we're at a point, and this all has to do with the end times. The Bible says in the S days it'll get like this. So that's where we are. So what do we do now to help protect our citizens? Men, women, children, it doesn't matter. What we need to do is start applying some common sense principles to law and order and punishment. We should execute murderers, we should put uh thieves and felons in jail at hard labor like they were at the turn of the century. And I have actually known people who committed manslaughter because of an assault that had been done earlier. They caught this person later and and it happened to kill them. They spent some time in the Arkansas prison system and they were actually reformed. Never did anything else the rest of their life. Nothing's ever gonna change as long as you expect human nature to change on its own. It's never gonna happen. So until we do that, we we still are exposed to danger, and we should be aware of that. Well, the podcast is gonna be a little short today, but um those of you who are listening, I do appreciate it. Uh this one will be posted immediately. And uh, if you have any questions, you can write me at uh what happened to America at buzzsprout.com and uh I'll answer your emails. Uh but again, thank you for listening, and uh, we will talk to you next time.
